You need vinegar, a cup, and 1 egg.
Put the egg in the cup and cover it with vinegar. Let set for 2 days
After 2 days this is what your project will look like...dump the vinegar out and under running cold water and literally rub the shell of!
This is a bad picture, but it is what it looks like. You now just have a squishy egg! you have to be careful with it, because if you squeeze it too hard, or drop it too far it will break. Here is a link to do the same thing which better explains the progress and so forth. http://imaginationstationtoledo.org/content/2011/04/how-to-make-a-naked-egg/
Wow that is really cool!! how long did the egg last before it broke????
ReplyDeletedepends how much you squeeze it or play with it...ours always broke pretty fast :/
DeleteThat's a cool experiment, isn't it? I did that in my Biology class. We actually did a few experiments with the egg, and each egg had a different texture...I did a post about it. Here is the link. http://creatingpreciousmoments.blogspot.com/2014/09/biology-romans-319.html
