-Sunday afternoon mini-bike rides with Daddy 

 -The Road Runner's frisbee season came to an end after a sad loss in the playoffs....but we were the #1 seed for the actual season, so that was fun, and we did have a great time with these people ↑↑

 -this is a rather old picture, but does it not look out-westish? 😊 ha.

-these gals love to make a snack stand/shop out of anything...that day I believe it was lemonade and chocolate cupcakes 😊

 -3 special little cousins came over for the day, and Leah taught them some schooling 😃

- a furry kitty joined the family...welcome Fleece! 😺

on being a carpenter + fixer upper ||

Hi friends! Lately I have found my way into many different things...mostly cause Dad has been doing a lot of projects, and he is always getting me to help him. Here are pictures of some of the things we are doing 😃

•  Our church cleaned up some flower beds and outside stuff for a friend of our Paster's wife. We ended the evening with a little snack!

•  The pool house needed a new roof, so we helped tear it off and put the new roof on. It was a little freaky, but we weren't too high off the ground 😏

•  One of Dad's rental properties (the one at the end of our lane) was severely damaged during the storm, so it got completely renovated. We helped with the little things, like staining the hardwood floor + steps and doing lots of cleanup work after the carpenters. 

• Dad buried an electrical line, and we helped cover it back up, and pick out the many rocks. 

I think the projects are soon finished...thankfully! I was just telling Mom that life around here is soon going to be boring...we've had so many workers and people around ever since February, and things are finally winding down. That is until the end of July when our barns get built 😊

Light of the world //

This verse is a great reminder why we Christians are here on this earth - Jesus calls us to be a light to others, so that they can see our good works and glorify Him! Sometimes we just want to fit in with everyone else, and not be different, (at least that is how I sometimes feel.) BUT- although being different isn't always easy, we want to shine with Jesus' light, right? So, I am challenging + reminding you, as well as me, to show Jesus' love to those around us!! Whether it's giving a big smile and a "hello" to some stranger, or just serving your family with love, let's be a light, so others can tell and see, we love + serve Jesus and want to show His love to all those around us. Blessings to you, friends, as you serve Jesus with all your hearts!

So it's June. Already. It's great and yet it's crazy. But anyway, here are a few random pictures and a little update on my life.

• Memorial Day Weekend found us camping back at Woodcrest! We had a good weekend, lovely weather. I spend a lot of my weekend reading, so that was great 😋. On Saturday evening we had some lovely visitors, and some good Spike Ball games! 

• Our house is finally getting siding. It looks so nice! They haven't finished yet, but are planning to next week or the next. 

• And so summer vacation has begun...things have been busy in my corner...I've been doing anything from farm work, to kitchen work, to babysitting, hanging out with friends, and just doing this thing called life!  😃

• Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
